Foresite Group teamed with Design Workshop and Haddow & Company to develop a corridor master redevelopment plan for Opelika Road in Auburn, Alabama. This once declining commercial corridor connects the City of Opelika with downtown Auburn and Auburn University. Through extensive public involvement, Foresite Group drafted a transportation plan that fit with the land use changes envisioned by the community. Specific tasks included infrastructure and policy inventories, visioning, safety and capacity analyses, alternatives analysis, and modeling.
